MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II of Jordan held a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss the latest developments in the region and ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at easing tensions.
According to Oman TV, the two leaders reviewed the evolving regional situation and exchanged views on efforts to promote de-escalation and reduce tensions in a way that contributes to protecting the security and stability of the region.
They also underscored the importance of ensuring the safety of international maritime navigation, amid continued attention on regional security and key shipping routes.
