MUSCAT : The credential presentation took place during a reception held at the Presidential Headquarters in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Ambassador H.E Al Jahouri conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty’s wishes of continued success and happiness to H.E President Aliyev. He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes for further progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Azerbaijan, and for the continued development and growth of bilateral relations between the two countries.
For his part, H.E President Aliyev entrusted the Omani Ambassador with conveying his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his wishes for His Majesty’s continued health and well-being. He also expressed his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.

H.E President Aliyev further underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Oman and Azerbaijan in a manner that fulfils the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.
