MUSCAT : India’s External Affairs Minister His Excellency Dr. S. Jaishankar met members of the Indian community in Oman on Friday, praising their contributions to both Omani society and the longstanding partnership between the two countries.
Sharing details of the interaction on X, Jaishankar described the meeting as a “good interaction” with members of the Indian diaspora and said their commitment to strengthening India-Oman relations was clearly evident.
“Their enthusiasm in strengthening India-Oman relations was palpable,” Jaishankar wrote. “Appreciated their many contributions to the society as well as to the partnership.”

The meeting took place during Jaishankar’s official visit to Muscat, where he held talks with senior Omani officials, including Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, on bilateral cooperation, regional developments and maritime security.
