MUSCAT : In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 8, 2026, Oman expressed its solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait in all matters related to safeguarding their security, stability, territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national interests.
The ministry warned that the continued escalation of military tensions in the region threatens regional security, maritime safety, the free movement of international trade, and the stability of global energy supplies.
Oman reiterated its firm rejection of any actions that undermine the security of states or endanger civilian and commercial vessels, stressing the importance of protecting maritime navigation and ensuring the safety of international shipping routes.
The Sultanate called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, reduce tensions, prioritize dialogue and diplomatic solutions, and fully adhere to signed agreements to support efforts aimed at strengthening security and peace in the region.
