The participation of the Ministry of Information, through presenting the “Journalist of the Year” and “Financial Journalist of the Year” awards, represents an important step toward enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s presence in the British media landscape.

It also expands its network of professional relations with influential media institutions and consolidates the role of media cooperation as one of the paths supporting bilateral relations and building sustainable partnerships between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom.

This participation reflects the Sultanate of Oman’s interest in appreciating professional excellence in the journalistic field. It also provided an opportunity to connect with a group of journalists, editors-in-chief, and professionals working in the media sector in the United Kingdom, opening the way for the exchange of expertise in the fields of external media and international media relations, and exploring opportunities.
