MUSCAT : The UK-based independent accreditation body awards the Gold certification to organisations that successfully integrate social responsibility principles into their operations and deliver initiatives with measurable positive impacts on communities and the environment.
The recognition highlights OQEP’s efforts to embed CSR practices into its business model and create long-term value through sustainable programmes and partnerships.
The company said the accreditation reflects its support for Oman’s development goals through social investment initiatives, sustainability-focused projects and collaborations aimed at improving community well-being.
Said Bin Saif Al Hashmi, Chief Executive for People, Technology and Culture OQ Exploration and Production, said the certification demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to responsible growth and contributing to sustainable national development.
He added that corporate responsibility remains a key element of the company’s strategy, supporting initiatives in areas including education, healthcare, youth development, environmental awareness, volunteering and community engagement.
