MUSCAT – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday, where the two leaders reviewed developments related to ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations and efforts to end regional tensions.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the discussions focused on the progress of the U.S.-Iran talks currently being conducted through Qatari and Pakistani mediation, as well as diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the conflict and reaching a comprehensive resolution to the crisis.
The meeting also reviewed the latest diplomatic initiatives and regional developments amid international efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote stability in the Middle East.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham stressed the importance of advancing diplomatic efforts to achieve security and stability in the region and highlighted the need for coordinated initiatives among friendly and neighbouring countries to support peaceful solutions.
His Majesty the Sultan also underscored the value of continued cooperation and constructive engagement by regional and international partners in addressing the crisis and preventing further escalation.
