MUSCAT – The launch ceremony, to be held at JW Marriott Muscat, will be attended by His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors; Hamoud bin Salem Al Saadi, Second Deputy Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Franchise Centre Committee; along with board members, business leaders and other officials.

The event will witness the signing of several franchise agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at providing facilities and support services for Omani brands. The programme forms part of the Chamber’s efforts to enhance the business environment, promote economic diversification and support development across Oman’s governorates in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

Eng. Hamoud Al Saadi said the programme seeks to promote the franchise model among business owners in Oman, support local brands with growth potential, strengthen investment opportunities and commercial partnerships, and help small and medium-sized enterprises expand into regional and international markets.

He noted that franchising has become an effective tool for strengthening entrepreneurship, increasing the contribution of businesses to the national economy and creating new investment and employment opportunities.

Al Saadi added that the previous four editions of the programme had successfully helped a number of Omani brands transition from traditional business operations to expansion through franchising. This has strengthened their presence in the local market while enabling some brands to expand beyond Oman, demonstrating the potential of Omani enterprises to develop into regional and international success stories.
