MUSCAT – In a statement, the Council of Ministers expressed its appreciation for the regional and international efforts made, particularly the constructive role played by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in helping spare the region any threats to its security and stability.
The statement also highlighted His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s commendation of the launch of the “Muscat Plan” in cooperation with the United Nations, describing it as a practical embodiment of Oman’s deeply rooted principles and a reflection of the Omani approach based on dialogue, understanding, and building humanitarian partnerships.
The Council of Ministers reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s firm position on respecting the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.

It also affirmed Oman’s continued commitment to good neighbourly relations, constructive cooperation with all countries, and its ongoing call to resort to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve differences in a manner that safeguards lives and preserves the resources of the region.
The Council highlighted Oman’s established foreign policy principles, including dialogue and diplomacy, respect for sovereignty, good neighbourliness, constructive cooperation, upholding international law, and supporting regional security and stability.
It stressed that Oman’s foreign policy remains consistent and guided by wisdom and moderation, serving as a model for promoting peace and strengthening stability through partnerships based on mutual respect and international law.
