MUSCAT – The new facility, located at the Oman Automobile Association in Muscat Governorate and operated in partnership with Al Maha Technical Inspection Company, will provide vehicle inspection services in line with approved technical standards and specifications.
ROP said the initiative reflects the growing role of public-private partnerships in supporting the delivery of essential services and improving operational efficiency. The station is expected to contribute to safer roads by ensuring vehicles meet technical and safety requirements before being approved for use.
To maintain service standards, personnel at the facility underwent specialised training and qualification programmes in vehicle technical inspection at the Traffic Safety Institute in Muscat Governorate.
