MUSCAT – The recognition highlights the continued development of the airport and its operational readiness, as well as ongoing upgrades to facilities and services to keep pace with growing tourism and air traffic in Dhofar Governorate. It also strengthens the airport’s role as one of Oman’s key aviation gateways.
Oman Airports has implemented several development initiatives in recent years aimed at improving the passenger experience. These include the opening of the new ‘Majan’ lounge earlier this year, which enhanced hospitality services and expanded premium travel options.
The airport has also upgraded its family and children’s entertainment areas, creating a more comfortable environment for travellers and improving the overall waiting experience, particularly during peak tourist seasons in Dhofar.
