MUSCAT – Most parts of Oman are expected to witness clear skies on Friday, while the Dhofar governorate could see partly cloudy conditions with chances of isolated rainfall, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The authority said low clouds and patches of fog are likely to form over parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates, particularly during the early morning hours, potentially reducing visibility in affected areas.
Dust is also expected to rise over deserts and open areas, prompting caution for motorists and residents travelling through exposed regions.

The CAA warned that temperatures could climb into the upper 40 degrees Celsius range in some parts of the country as summer conditions continue to intensify across the Sultanate.
Authorities advised the public to remain alert to changing weather conditions, especially in areas prone to fog formation and blowing dust, where visibility may be significantly reduced.
Along the Dhofar coast, partly cloudy skies are forecast to prevail, with a possibility of isolated rainfall associated with seasonal weather activity in the region.
