MANAMA : Oman urged intensified diplomatic efforts to contain the crisis during the 167th session of the GCC Ministerial Council in Manama, Bahrain, stressing the importance of de-escalation and peaceful dialogue to address regional tensions.
The Omani delegation underscored the need to immediately stop the ongoing military targeting and called for greater political and diplomatic engagement to prevent further escalation. Oman emphasized that efforts should focus on containing the crisis and addressing its root causes through peaceful means and constructive dialogue.
The Sultanate further highlighted that resolving conflicts through diplomacy is essential to preserving regional security, maintaining stability, and safeguarding the interests of GCC countries and their peoples.
