Tech Oman to spotlight women shaping the Sultanate’s digital future

Muscat: Tech Oman, Oman’s leading technology community platform, is organizing a “Women Leading Technology 2026”  dedicated event designed to highlight, promote, recognize, and support women making an impact in Oman’s technology landscape. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2026, at the Intercity Hotel, near the Ministry District, Muscat.

The event is open to the public and will bring together a diverse cross-section of women working in technology roles across industries including telecommunications, oil and gas, finance, education, and more, spanning both Omani nationals and expatriate professionals contributing to the Sultanate’s digital future.

Highlights of the event includes keynotes address, panel discussions, and awards. The speakers represent a rich mix of backgrounds and sectors, reflecting the breadth of women’s contributions to technology in Oman today. From shaping national digital infrastructure in telecoms to driving data-led innovation in financial services, the voices featured at this event represent the full spectrum of what women in technology are achieving across the Sultanate.

The Women Leading Technology event forms part of Tech Oman’s broader mission to build an active, inclusive, and forward-looking technology community in Oman. By creating dedicated spaces for underrepresented voices, Tech Oman aims to foster a culture where talent is recognized regardless of background, and where Oman’s Vision 2040 digital ambitions are driven by the widest possible pool of innovators.
