MUSCAT : The municipality said the action was taken as part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and address the risks posed by animals roaming freely near roads and public areas.
It urged camel owners to comply with relevant regulations and ensure their animals are not left unattended near roadways, warning that stray livestock can pose a significant hazard to motorists and other road users.
