MUSCAT – Upon arrival at the headquarters of the Sultan’s Armed Forces General Staff, the visiting Algerian delegation was accorded an official reception ceremony. The guard of honour performed the military salute, while the military band played the salute of honour, after which the visiting guest inspected the guard of honour.
Lieutenant General Al Raisi welcomed the Algerian military official, and the two sides exchanged views on a range of military topics, discussing ways to enhance cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Sultanate of Oman.
