MUSCAT – The extreme heat was felt across several governorates, with Al Suwayq registering 48.8°C and Wadi Al Maawil reaching 48.0°C. Saham and Bidbid both recorded 47.9°C, while Bausher reported 47.4°C.
Other areas also experienced intense summer conditions, with Sur recording 47.3°C, Al Amerat 47.2°C and Al Rustaq 47.0°C. Dima Wat Tayeen reached 46.9°C, while Muscat recorded a high of 46.7°C.
