MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call on Sunday from French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the two leaders discussed recent developments in the region and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at supporting security and stability.
According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the discussions focused on regional developments and efforts to coordinate perspectives on issues affecting peace and stability. The two leaders also reviewed measures to ensure freedom of maritime navigation and the uninterrupted flow of international trade.
His Majesty and President Macron further discussed the longstanding cooperation and partnership between Oman and France, reaffirming the strong ties between the two countries and their commitment to continued collaboration across various fields.
