MUSCAT — Raysut Cement Company said the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal in Muscat has adjourned hearings in an ongoing criminal case involving former board members and executive management until June 21, 2026.
In a disclosure to the Financial Services Authority and the Muscat Stock Exchange dated May 25, the company said the court postponed the hearing to allow parties who had not yet submitted responses to specialised reports filed by the Public Prosecution additional time to do so.
The case, registered under Criminal Case No. 30/7600/2025, relates to proceedings against the company’s former chairman, board members and executive management covering the period from 2018 to 2022.

Raysut Cement said the latest ruling was issued during a hearing held on May 24, 2026, by the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal sitting in a different panel.
The latest disclosure follows earlier legal proceedings disclosed by the company. On June 26, 2024, the Criminal Division of the Muscat Court of Appeal convicted the former chief executive officer, certain former executive managers, and the former chairman and members of the board for the 2018–2022 period in Criminal Case No. 126/7600/2023.
At the time, the court ordered the convicted individuals, jointly and severally, to pay civil compensation amounting to RO50.14 million to Raysut Cement.
The company had previously informed shareholders about the case in a disclosure issued on October 16, 2023, in line with Financial Services Authority regulations governing listed companies.
Raysut Cement added that shareholders would be informed of any further developments related to the ongoing proceedings.
