Riyadh: The Omani pilgrims’ camp in Mina came alive with Eid celebrations as pilgrims exchanged greetings, shared traditional meals, and embraced the spirit of togetherness during the blessed days of Eid Al-Adha.

After being released from the state of Ihram, many pilgrims wore authentic Omani attire and prepared traditional Omani dishes, creating a warm cultural atmosphere amid the spiritual journey of Hajj.
Kamal bin Hamid Al-Muslihi, one of the Omani pilgrims, said pilgrims from the Sultanate remain committed to preserving inherited customs and traditions even while performing the pilgrimage. He noted that exchanging Eid greetings and preparing traditional foods added to the joy and happiness of completing the sacred duty of Hajj and visiting the Holy House of Allah.

He added that the Mina camps witness a strong presence of Omani social customs during the days of Tashreeq, with Omani sweets and coffee being served to fellow pilgrims and guests. Visits between camps also continue throughout the Eid days, reflecting the values of generosity, brotherhood, and hospitality deeply rooted in Omani society.
Ahmed bin Salem Al-Shariqi highlighted that an atmosphere of tranquility and peace prevailed across the Mina camp, while the sounds of Eid takbirs and remembrance of Allah echoed throughout the area in glorification of the sacred rituals.
He explained that manifestations of Eid joy and celebration were visible throughout the camp, reflecting customs that Omanis are keen to uphold both during travel and religious occasions.
The Omani Hajj Mission continues its annual efforts to prepare Mina camps to accommodate pilgrims from the Sultanate, ensuring comfort and safety during the Day of Tarwiyah and the days of Tashreeq.
