MUSCAT : The programme was launched in cooperation with Awasr Company as part of efforts to promote Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) season 2026.
The programme aims to enhance tourism awareness among visitors to Dhofar Governorate by using digital communication methods and smart guidance messages. This contributes to the realization of public safety, the conservation of the environment and the vitalization of visitor experience.
Other features of the programme include guided field tours in heritage and tourist sites and media gatherings with visitors to deliver awareness messages in an interactive manner, using the digital infrastructure of Awasr Company.
The programme’s launch ceremony was held under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Said bin Humaid Al Harthi, Wali of Salalah.
