MUSCAT: The night movement ban imposed until October 24 is “subject to extension if the Supreme Committee decide so,” Oman’s Minister of Health said.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Arabic Radio, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said the rise in the number of coronavirus cases has put pressure on the health sector. “The night movement ban is subject to extension if the Supreme Committee decide so,” he said.
“Rise in cases has brought the health sector to a semi-paralyzed situation to provide other services, and all capabilities have been harnessed to care for Covid-19 patients, which is similar to other countries,” Al Saidi said.
