MUSCAT – In guidance issued on managing cyberbullying cases, the ministry said parents should listen to children calmly, assure them they are not alone, and avoid blame or punishment, as this helps create a sense of safety and confidence.
The ministry added that families should seek psychological support if a child’s anxiety or fear continues, noting that timely intervention can help reduce the long-term psychological impact.
It stressed that the right parental response plays a key role in helping children recover from cyberbullying and protecting their mental health.
