MUSCAT : The Ministry of Education on Monday dismissed widely circulated messages alleging that Grade 5 would be added to the first cycle system in schools across the Sultanate as an initial phase before nationwide implementation.
In an official clarification shared through its verified social media accounts, the ministry stamped the circulating message as “false” and urged the public to rely only on information issued through official channels.
The viral message had claimed that selected schools in different governorates would begin implementing the change as a pilot phase before expanding it to all schools later.
