WASHINGTON – Non-subscribing users are now only able to post 50 posts per day, with a maximum of 200 replies per day, a sharp decline compared to the previous limit of 2,400 posts per day.
This sudden change came via an update to the platform’s official support page with the aim of reducing the technical pressure on the servers and combating automated and fake accounts.
This new policy is strictly enforced across all devices to force users who cross the line to stop interacting unless they subscribe to paid ‘X Premium’ packages.
The new restrictions are not limited to individual posts, but also extend to limiting replies and comments to a maximum of 200 replies per day, restricting direct messages to only 500 messages per day, in addition to allowing 400 new followers per day and limiting the use of the artificial intelligence assistant /Grok/ to only 10 messages every two hours.
