MUSCAT : The forum featured a scientific session that included two working papers. The first was presented by Badr bin Saif Al Kindi, Director of the Gulf Network Office for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, focusing on quality assurance in teacher preparation programmes.
The second paper was delivered by Khadija bint Ahmed Al Balushi, Director of the Department of Supervision of Applied Sciences at the Ministry of Education, addressing the competencies required of Omani teachers.


The event also included specialised workshops aimed at assessing the attributes of graduates from the college’s programmes, evaluating their competitiveness, and identifying ways to enhance their professional capabilities.
On the sidelines of the forum, an initiative titled ‘Extending Impact’ was launched for graduates of the College of Education in Rustaq. Participants and organisers were also honoured during the event.
