MUSCAT : According to the ROP, the suspects were apprehended after they transported the infiltrators in a vehicle and attempted to evade police officers during pursuit.
All 23 individuals were also arrested on charges of illegal entry into the country.
The Police Command in Al Wusta Governorate carried out the arrests, and legal procedures against the suspects and the infiltrators are currently being completed, the authorities confirmed.
