MUSCAT – The survey, which continues until June 26, covers all services used by citizens, whether delivered through governorate offices or other government entities at the local level.

It is being conducted as part of NCSI’s mandate to provide accurate statistical data and national indicators that support decision-makers, with the aim of improving the quality of government services and shaping public policy based on citizens’ feedback and expectations.

The survey targets Omani citizens aged 18 and above.

Mahfouz bin Salem Al Mushrafi, Director of the Public Opinion Measurement Department at NCSI, said the survey is an important tool for assessing beneficiary satisfaction with municipal services and governorate-level offices, as well as identifying areas requiring further development and improvement to enhance government performance.

He pointed out that citizen participation is a key pillar for the success of the survey, noting that public feedback provides essential indicators that support development efforts and improve service quality across the Sultanate’s governorates.

He also urged selected citizens to participate and respond with accuracy and transparency, stressing that their input plays a vital role in supporting efforts to develop services and enhance overall performance.
