ASTANA — Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Thursday received Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, at the Presidential Palace in Astana during his official two-day visit to Kazakhstan.
According to official statements, Sayyid Theyazin conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Tokayev, along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Kazakhstan and its people.
President Tokayev, in turn, asked Sayyid Theyazin to convey his greetings and regards to His Majesty Sultan Haitham, reaffirming the strong ties between the two friendly nations.

The two sides later held an official round of talks at Akorda Presidential Palace, where they discussed strengthening economic and investment cooperation across various sectors and explored ways to further develop bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both countries.
The discussions focused on expanding partnerships in strategic sectors and enhancing opportunities for trade and investment, reflecting the shared commitment of Oman and Kazakhstan to deepen economic collaboration and broaden avenues of cooperation.
