MUSCAT — The ROP stated that its General Directorate of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation has foiled an attempt to smuggle several vehicles out of the Sultanate and arrested a group of suspects of various nationalities.
It added that the group had rented multiple vehicles and disabled their tracking systems before using forged documents and falsified license plates to move the vehicles out of the country.
The police confirmed that the suspects were apprehended and that legal procedures are currently being completed against them.
