MUSCAT – The meeting in Oman focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities to further develop cooperation in the media sector, building on longstanding ties between the two brotherly nations.
Both sides discussed avenues to expand media partnerships in a way that serves mutual interests and supports broader bilateral cooperation.
The talks also reviewed the current trajectory of media and cultural collaboration and examined ways to enhance joint initiatives that promote knowledge exchange and professional development in the sector.
During the meeting, the Mauritanian Ambassador expressed appreciation for the balanced and professional approach of Omani media, commending its objectivity, credibility and responsible standards in covering regional and international issues.
He also praised the role of the media in Oman in raising public awareness and promoting constructive discourse, noting its contribution to reinforcing values and reflecting the Sultanate’s measured and balanced approach.
