“India is a big market for us; we are looking to add more destinations,” says SalamAir CEO

Oman’s low-cost carrier reports strong 2025 growth with 3.4 million passengers and RO 137 million in revenue.

MUSCAT – SalamAir is looking to expand its footprint in India as part of its growth strategy, its chief executive Adrian Hamilton-Manns said, citing strong demand in the market.

“India is continuing to grow and remains a big market for us. We are looking to add more destinations in India,” Hamilton-Manns told The Arabian Stories in an exclusive interview.

The airline reported robust performance in 2025, carrying around 3.4 million passengers and operating more than 22,000 flights across its network.

SalamAir also maintained an on-time performance rate of 83%, reflecting operational efficiency as it scaled up services.

Revenues for the year stood at approximately RO 137 million, underscoring sustained demand for low-cost travel in the region and the airline’s expanding route network.
