MUSCAT : During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the overall situation in the Middle East and recent regional developments, particularly in light of the repercussions of the Israeli-American war on Iran and the current truce. They also discussed ongoing efforts to reach comprehensive solutions aimed at ending the conflict across political, security, economic, and humanitarian dimensions.
His Excellency the Minister reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s support for United Nations efforts to promote peaceful and diplomatic solutions, and to create conducive conditions for regional dialogue among all parties to reduce tensions, build trust, and restore security and stability.


For his part, the UN envoy expressed appreciation for the constructive role played by Oman, highlighting its longstanding experience in supporting peace initiatives, mediation efforts, and regional stability. He praised Oman’s approach based on dialogue and bridging perspectives.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry, along with a number of officials from both sides.
