MILAN : Stefano Gabbana has stepped down from his roles at Dolce & Gabbana and its controlling holding company, effective January 1, the group said on Friday, confirming earlier reports of his resignation as chair.
The company clarified that Gabbana’s departure from formal leadership positions will not affect his ongoing creative contributions to the brand.
Alfonso Dolce, the chief executive and brother of co-founder Domenico Dolce, has been appointed as the new chair, according to a filing with the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
