MUSCAT – The move is part of the Municipality’s ongoing digital transformation efforts; it aims to streamline procedures, reduce processing times, and improve overall service efficiency.
The online platform will manage all types of advertising permits, including promotional advertisements, vehicle advertising on private and commercial vehicles, advertisements in front of shops, as well as leaflets and other printed materials. It will also cover advertising on buildings, including rooftops, walls, awnings, service signs, menus, and posters.
The Municipality indicated that obtaining licensed advertising permits protects the rights of all parties involved and enhances the credibility of advertisements.
