MUSCAT : Oman Meteorology has issued weather alerts across the Sultanate, warning residents of potential hazards from thunderstorms, dust storms, and active winds.

As per the forecast, thunderstorms with limited impact will affect Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, South and North Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah, Muscat, and Musandam governorates.

There are chances of dust storms – moderate intensity – over Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah, and Al Wusta.

Residents in southern coastal, including Al Jazir, Rakhyut, Sadah, Shalim and the Hallaniyat Islands, Salalah, Dhalkut, Taqah, and Mirbat, are alerted for active winds with moderate intensity.
