MUSCAT : The ministry said the closure will affect traffic between key routes in the area, with diversions in place to manage the flow of vehicles during the maintenance period.
Motorists travelling from Buraimi Governorate towards Mahdah are advised to use the designated detour located 1 kilometre before the bridge; those heading from Mahdah Wilayat to Sohar Wilayat are required to take the alternative route via Zarub Bridge.
Authorities have urged all road users to exercise caution, follow posted diversion signs and comply with traffic instructions to ensure safety during the closure.
