MUSCAT : The programme is structured to support organisations in complying with the Personal Data Protection Law (6/2022) and its Executive Regulation (34/2024).
It targets external auditors, ensuring their efficiency and credibility in assessing organisations’ compliance with data protection requirements. Full compliance with national laws and clear data protection and confidentiality policies is also required.
The accreditation process involves submission of applications and supporting documents, evaluation and auditing of the service provider, review of compliance with accreditation standards, approval of terms and conditions, and issuance of the accreditation certificate.
