Muscat: The intense weather system brought significant rainfall across several wilayats, leading to powerful water flow through valleys and low-lying areas.

In Wilayat Ibra, heavy rains caused multiple valleys to surge, including Wadi Qafifa, Al-Sabakh, Jadya, Al-Jarula, and the Great Valley, raising concerns over flash flooding in surrounding areas.

Wilayat Al Mudhaibi also witnessed extensive valley flows, with Wadi Al Malah, Al Lathli, Bu Hasiyah, Al Salil, and Al Masilah among the affected. In the Niabat of Samad Al Shan, several valleys including Al Wariyah, Baad, Al Ram, Andam, Al Suwairij, Dhaadh, Al Rawdah, and Al Bathaa experienced strong water currents.

In Al Qabil, the valleys of Al-Sarm, Suwa, Shannah, and Al-Aqida flowed heavily, alongside additional valleys in Wadi Nam, Al-Jawfa, Al-Mudhaireb, and Azz villages, as rainfall intensified across the region.

Meanwhile, Wilayat Bidiyah saw the flow of valleys such as Al-Dhahir, Al-Wasil, and Al-Muntarib. The situation was similar in Dima and Al-Taiyyin, where most valleys, including Wadi Ham, Qabat, Mas, Al-Sabil, Al-Masfa, Al-Mudayra, and Al-Hamam, experienced strong flows.

Further impact was recorded in Wadi Bani Khalid, where valleys such as Maqal and Al-Amiqeen surged, while in Sinaw, valleys including Al-Bathaa, Al-Wasit, Al-Uyun, and Barzman were also affected.
