MUSCAT — A child has died after being swept away by flowing waters in a wadi in the Wilayat of Izki, in Oman’s Al Dakhiliyah governorate, authorities said on Friday.
The Search and Rescue Department said the child was carried away by water currents before emergency teams were deployed to locate him. The body was later recovered, and the child was confirmed to have died.
