MUSCAT: The night movement ban imposed by the Supreme Committee began on Sunday at 8pm.

The 14-day night curfew will end daily at 5am until October 24. With the surge in coronavirus cases in the country, the authorities have asked both citizens and residents to adhere to the movement ban rules and follow preventive measures. All public places and shops must be closed during the ban while no movement will be allowed.

“Let us all stand together and fight this virus. Its everyones responsibility to adhere to the rules and make sure we wipe this virus out completely,” a top ROP official told The Arabian Stories.

The Royal Oman Police has informed that it will deal firmly against violators. Oman’s total coronavirus cases has touched 105,580 including 1,038 deaths.
