MUSCAT: As the night movement ban begins from today, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed that it will deal firmly against those violating the Supreme Committee decisions.
In a statement issued, ROP said it will monitor all public places starting today from 8pm to 5am until October 24. ROP said it will also monitor violators using the remote-controlled aircrafts (drones).
The ROP also asked shops and owners of institutions to allow employees to leave office with sufficient time to reach their homes before the ban is enforced. “Citizens and residents must finish their work and reach home before the time of the movement ban to avoid registering violations,” ROP added.
