MUSCAT : The Ministry of Education has announced the conversion of education to distance learning and the activation of e-learning platforms across all public and private schools, universities, and colleges in Oman, starting Tuesday, March 24, 2026, through Thursday, March 26.
The decision comes in response to the impact of a weather depression affecting several governorates. The measure excludes the governorates of Dhofar and Al Batinah, where regular in-person education will continue.
