Happy birthday, Your Majesty!
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is celebrating his 65th birthday on October 11.
His Majesty who was sworn in as the new Sultan has been hailed for his pragmatic approach in leading the nation.

His Majesty who graduated from the Oxford University in 1979 served in several positions in including the head of a committee that forged the country’s vision for 2040. He also served as the Minister of Heritage and Culture from 2002 until January 2020.
He was the first head of the Oman Football Association in the early 1980s.
In his opening address to nation, His Majesty said: “The least we hope for is to follow in his [late HM Sultan Qaboos] footsteps and remain guided by his wisdom into the future, and preserve … the achievements he made.”
