MUSCAT : Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals said on Wednesday that fuel supplies remain stable across the Sultanate and that petroleum products are available in all governorates, following the drone attack on Salalah Port earlier in the day.
A ministry official confirmed that the country’s petroleum derivatives are available in their normal quantities, stressing that the situation remains under control and that there is no impact on the continuity of fuel supplies.
“The availability of petroleum products in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman remains normal,” the official said, adding that the ministry reassures the public that there is no disruption to oil supply chains or petroleum derivatives.

The statement came after Omani authorities earlier reported intercepting several drones in Duqm, while others struck fuel storage tanks at the Port of Salalah, according to a security source cited by Oman TV.
Authorities said the incident caused no human casualties, and specialised agencies are continuing monitoring and response efforts to address the situation and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
