MUSCAT : Oman Oil Marketing Company SAOG (OOMCO) said the impact from an incident involving one of its fuel storage tanks was limited to minor physical damage, with operations at the affected site temporarily suspended as a precaution.
In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange on March 4, the company said preliminary assessments indicated the damage was minor and contained.
“As a precautionary measure, operations at the affected site were temporarily suspended pending completion of technical inspections and safety evaluations,” the company said.

The company added that it is coordinating with relevant authorities and closely monitoring the situation while technical and safety assessments are carried out.
OOMCO said any further developments would be disclosed in accordance with applicable regulatory disclosure requirements.
