MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the latest regional military escalation and its implications for security and stability during a telephone call on Tuesday, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
According to ONA, the leaders reviewed recent developments in the region and their impact on the safety and stability of nations and their peoples.
They stressed the need to intensify international efforts to immediately halt the escalation and return to dialogue and diplomatic channels in order to contain the crisis and reinforce regional and global peace.
