MUSCAT — His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, held a telephone conversation with His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs of Oman, to discuss the rapidly evolving security situation in the region, the Dubai Media Office said on Tuesday.
During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East and reviewed regional security concerns in light of ongoing tensions that have disrupted air traffic and heightened diplomatic activity across the Gulf.
Both sides underscored the importance of sustained coordination and dialogue to contain escalation and safeguard regional stability. They highlighted the value of joint efforts and continued engagement to prevent further deterioration of the security environment.
