His Majesty Sultan Haitham issues Royal Decrees appointing ambassadors to Egypt, Tunisia and Kenya

New envoys named to Egypt, Tunisia and Kenya, with additional non-resident accreditation to Eritrea, Libya, Rwanda, Uganda and Malawi.

MUSCAT – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued royal decrees appointing new ambassadors to Egypt, Tunisia and Kenya, according to an announcement by Oman News Agency.

Under the decrees, Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser bin Muslim Al Rahbi has been appointed as Oman’s Ambassador to the Egypt, with the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. He will also serve as non-resident ambassador to the State of Eritrea.

In a separate appointment, Dr. Hilal bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Sanani has been named Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Tunisia, also with the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. He will additionally serve as non-resident ambassador to the State of Libya.

The decrees further appointed Ambassador Nasra bint Salem bin Mohammed Al Hashmi as Oman’s Ambassador to the Kenya, with the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. She will also serve as non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of Uganda, and the Republic of Malawi.
