MUSCAT – Oman’s Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged citizens and residents not to publish or share videos or images of military and security installations as regional developments continue to unfold.
In a public advisory issued on Sunday, the ROP called on the community to uphold national responsibility during the current situation by refraining from posting or forwarding visual content related to military facilities, equipment or security operations.
Authorities also cautioned against the spread of rumours and unverified information on social media, stressing that updates should be obtained only through official channels.
